Jeffreys Dunkeld is a long-established, highly regarded interior furnishings and lifestyle company known for quality, heritage, and uniqueness. We are looking for friendly, dependable Showroom Assistants to join our team and contribute to the warm, welcoming experience we offer our customers.

About the Role

As a Showroom Assistant, you will help ensure our showroom and retail space reflect the high standards of Jeffreys Dunkeld. You will be responsible for delivering great customer service, maintaining a tidy and inviting shop floor, and assisting with day-to-day retail tasks. No design experience is required, however an interest in design and home styling is beneficial. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about our chosen products and suppliers is essential.

 Key Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and offering helpful, friendly service

• Assisting customers with product information and purchases

• Keeping the showroom clean, organised, and well-stocked on a daily basis

• Processing sales at the till and handling basic admin tasks

• Managing stock deliveries, unpacking and pricing items

• Arranging simple product displays and ensuring items are presented neatly

• Answering phone and email enquiries

• Supporting the team with general duties as needed

 Ideal Candidate

• Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers

• Reliable and organised with good attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a retail environment

• Able to work both independently and as part of a small team

• Previous retail experience is helpful but not essential

• Good communication skills and basic computer knowledge

• As our Showroom is a dog friendly environment and has a resident dog, all candidates must be aware and comfortable with this.

 Hours

• Part-Time and Full-Time roles available

• Flexibility to work weekends is an advantage

• Annual evening events and Showroom changeovers
